Keith Owen, Ph.D.
Senior Research Consultant
Dr. Keith Q. Owen graduated from the University of Texas at Austin
with a bachelor's in zoology and a doctorate in experimental psychology. Following his
doctoral, work he completed post doctoral work in the physiology of stress, clinical
psychology and organization development. He has over 20 years consulting with a variety of
organizations conducting employee and customer research, strategic planning, change
management, leadership development, and program evaluation. A special interest of Dr. Owen
is in establishing the business impact of change interventions through developing systems
that enable clients to link their leadership practices, employee and customer surveys, and
business performance management systems and to monitor the effects of their change
interventions. He has also published numerous articles and has co-authored five books in
the area of organizational and individual development.
Ron Mundy
Senior Technical Consultant
Mr. Mundy holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the
University of Texas at Austin. He has been developing applications in the field of human
and organization development for over 15 years. Mr. Mundy specializes in conducting
coordinated organization diagnosis, developing computer based training and intervention
strategies, and implementing Web based applications for human and organization development
activities. Mr. Mundy has implemented customized computer related solutions for specific
organization development needs for many Fortune 100 companies through research, analysis,
planning, program development, program implementation, support, and program evaluation.
Mike
Faris, Ph.D.
Organisational Development Specialist
Mr. Faris has been responsible for the Graduate Diploma in
Organization Change and Development at RMIT University since its creation in 1980. Whilst
small, the program has a high success rate with approximately 14% of graduates commencing
their own businesses.
Mr. Faris' development philosophy is grounded in adult learning
methodologies and action research to produce lasting change. He introduced these
methodologies into management development in the Australian public service in the '70's.
He has worked for over 60 organisations since 1980 in the researching, designing and
conducting of training and consulting. Much of his work has been incorporated into
Management Development and organisation change (strategy and quality) programs. Most have
been in the public sector, State and Federal. Specific non-training consultancies include
continuing assistance in corporate and divisional planning in a large city hospital;
objectives setting and team development in Telecom; and support for committees of
management in secondary education. Mr. Faris particular consulting interests
involve group development issues associated with planning, objectives setting, team
building, interpersonal relationships, organisation change and development and manager
development to facilitate these.
Wayne Smith
Team & Organisational Development Specialist
Mr. Smith holds a bachelor's
degree in human resource management and a master's degree in applied science from RMIT,
Melbourne. His masters project was on team goal setting and team effectiveness. He has
been consulting for several years after working in Australia and Japan with Pacific Dunlop
Ltd., Mobil Oil and Coles Myer Ltd. His consulting focus is on organisational and team
development, plus business planning, strategic planning and goal setting. He has worked on
many organisational and business improvement programs over recent years. Mr. Smith is also
lecturing in HR in the business faculty at RMIT, plus presenting in a post graduate
program focussing on organisational development, change management and quality management.
Brett Read
Team & Leadership Development Consultant
Mr. Read holds a Bachelor of Business (Management) from ECU, Western Australia as
well as a Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma in management. Prior to consulting Mr.
Read had 15 years experience in management in the corporate sector working for Brambles
Australia Ltd and Mayne Nickless Ltd and in the Australian Army where he served in the SAS
Regiment as a Troop Commander.
Mr. Read has several years consulting experience with a broad range of clients within
the resources sector, finance industry, and government departments. His passion is for
organisational improvement through team and leadership development. Mr. Read is also a
presenter on University of Western Australia, Graduate School of Management Executive
Programs.
Will Guild, Ph.D.
Organizational Research Design Consultant
Dr. Guild has a Ph.D. in Community-Social
Psychology from Boston College,(1981). He provides a full range of research services
including both quantitative and qualitative research. Dr. Guild has conducted hundreds of
research projects for both public and private sector clients, including utilities,
computer manufacturing companies, health care facilities, cable networks, financial
institutions, and public policy research for government entities. Dr. Guild has a Ph.D. in
Community-Social Psychology from Boston College, (1981). He provides a full range of
research services including both quantitative and qualitative research. Dr. Guild has
conducted hundreds of research projects for both public and private sector clients,
including utilities, computer manufacturing companies, health care facilities, cable
networks, financial institutions, and public policy research for government entities.
Robert Guild, B. B. A.
Senior Technical Consultant
Mr. Guild has a B.B.A. in accounting from the
University of Texas at Austin and was licensed as a CPA in 1980. As a data processing
manager and software developer, Mr. Guild has more than 15 years experience in database
management and software design. He has developed financial accounting software, for the
oil and gas industry, marketing software used in over 40 hospitals across the US and
inbound/outbound tele-managment software for marketing research and sales management.
